10 Tips You Need For That Perfect Makeover
Applying makeup doesn’t have to be rocket science and you don’t have to be a professional either. Today, i’ll be sharing some tips with you that would help make things simpler and easier.
- Your face is really the most important thing. Forget about eyeshadow and lipstick. A good canvas is always very important for an artist. Exfoliate regularly.
- Always apply water based moisturiser before you start anything. Let the moisturiser sit on your face for about 2 minutes, then start to apply your makeup.
- Apply your foundation in a circular motion to get that airbrushed look.
- If you really want that “slayed” look, then you must ALWAYS use foundation that matches your skin tone. Make sure you foundation blends with you neck and chest area.
- Always remember to wear a primer before your makeup. Primers don’t just help control oil, they also create a lovely base to enhance the appearance of your foundation.
- I know we all love those perfectly arched brows, but they are simply not for everyone. Follow your natural eyebrow pattern and you will simply look like a more beautiful you.
- If you don’t know how to define brows properly with concealer, use a lighter shade of powder on your brow bone area and blend in with your eyeshadow.
- Wearing eyeshadow can be tedious, save yourself the stress and stick with 2 colours. Apply a lid color which can also serve as a transitioning colour when faded out, then add a darker colour to your crease.
- Not a fan of blending? Who is really. Use a cream eyeshadow instead, apply to your lids and work your way up towards your crease.
- Applying eyeliner is meant for pros! But you can do it without much effort. Get an eyeliner pen, they are so easy to work with.
